Island hunting has taken on a new meaning for the Port Douglas office of Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty and two of its realtors are enjoying the successes of their endeavours.
For Barbara Wolveridge and her colleague Lynn Malone, a trip to the Whitsundays ended in dream fashion – they sold Elysian Island, Victor Island and then right up the top near Thursday Island, they sold Zuna Island.
“Three islands, three sales. It’s hard to get anything better than that,” said Wolveridge, Director, Tropical North Queensland.
“We also have an offer on Bloomfield Lodge. Things are hotting up in this segment and it’s good to be involved. I love it.”

Although prices have not been revealed, Wolveridge said the vendors “were very happy with the final outcome of the three islands.”
Zuna Island had a listing price of US$1.3 million and Elysian Island $7.95 million (Australian).
