Some of the best chefs around the country will show locals how to master BBQ cooking as part of a Fat Mango BBQ masterclass.

Some of the best chefs around the country will converge on the region in the coming weeks to take part in the much-anticipated Fat Mango BBQ in Port Douglas.

The Fat Mango BBQ will see top chefs like Colin Fassnidge and Anthony Puharich provide tips on how to cook the perfect BBQ, while interacting and having conversations with the audience.

Other chefs to take part in the Fat Mango BBQ and other activities includes Jake Nicolson, Ben Williamson, Bente Grysbaek, Aaron Ward, George Calombaris and Massimo Mele.

The Sheraton festival village will take place on August 13-14.

Day one will kick off with a host food stalls and guest chefs while the following day the much-awaited Fat Mango BBQ will entertain the most passionate attendees

Those interested in attending the Fat Mango BBQ on Sunday August 14 from 12pm-5pm at the Sheraton can purchase their tickets at Tasteportdouglas.com.au.

Tickets are $33 for adults and $13 for children.
