Adventure seekers to soar like eagles through Daintree

Ziplining Action

Locals and tourists alike once again have the opportunity to fly like an eagle through the world’s oldest rainforest after adventure eco company Treetops Adventure opened its doors in the Far North.
The move to reinstall a zipline canopy tour in Cape Tribulation comes after a tourist tragically died doing a similar activity in the area in 2019.
New business to the region Treetops Adventure, which runs other activities across the country opened just a few days ago and will operate zipline tours in the Daintree.
“Explore the rainforest canopy at Cape Tribulation in Far North Queensland,” a promotional spiel on its website said.
“You’ll experience a bird’s eye view of the ancient Daintree rainforest – up to 15 metres above ground – through a fully guided two-hour zipline tour.”
Treetops new facility boasts multiple ziplines, a 360 degrees viewing platform, an easy treetops course, interpretative talk and a 130m long dual zipline.
Newsport has learned the new activity recently enjoyed strong school holiday patronage with bookings and walk-ins remaining solid over the past few days.
