Tarragindi – bicycle and vehicle crash
A male patient in his 20s was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital stable with chest and arm injuries following a bicycle and vehicle crash on Effingham Street and Sexton Street at 5.35am. The High Acuity Response Unit attended the scene.
Earlville – single-vehicle crash
Paramedics transported a stable male patient to Cairns Hospital following a single-vehicle crash on Balaclava Road and Mulgrave Road around 3.15am.
Moranbah – snake bite
A female teenager was transported to Moranbah Hospital stable after sustaining a suspected snake bite to her foot at a private address at 9.22pm.
Sarina – snake bite
Paramedics transported a man in his 50s to Mackay Hospital stable following a suspected snake bite to the foot at a private address around 8pm.
Nudgee Beach – vehicle fire
A man in his 50s was assessed for minor injuries following a vehicle fire along the Gateway Motorway northbound around 7.45pm, however no transport was required.
Morningside – house fire
An uninjured adult and two children were assessed following a house fire on Belgrave Street around 6.30pm, however no transport was required. Paramedics remained on standby.
Oxenford – motorcycle crash
A male patient in his 20s was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition with head, chest and limb injuries after a QAS crew came across a motorcycle crash into a guard rail on the Pacific Motorway northbound at 5.25pm. The High Acuity Response Unit and a critical care paramedic were on board for transport.
