Clarke Creek – motorcycle and kangaroo crash

Paramedics are on the scene of a motorcycle and kangaroo crash that occurred on Marlborough Sarina Road around 5.45am. A male patient in his 50s is being assessed for head, chest, shoulder and arm injuries and a rescue helicopter has been tasked to the scene. Incident ongoing at time of report.

Pacific Pines – house fire

Six stable patients were assessed at the scene of a house fire on Hervey Street at 4.38am. Of these, two teenagers required transport to Gold Coast University Hospital for smoke inhalation.

Emerald – house fire

No patients required assessment following a house fire on Donohue Road at 3.40am. Paramedics remained on standby.

Parkwood – kitchen fire

Three stable patients were transported to Gold Coast University Hospital for smoke inhalation following a kitchen fire reported on Napper Road at 12.34am. This included two females and a male in their 20s.

Warrill View – vehicle and truck crash

A male teenager died at the scene of a vehicle and truck crash on the Cunningham Highway and Rosewood Warrill View Road at 10.21pm. The truck driver was uninjured and did not require transport. Five crews attended the scene including a rescue helicopter and the High Acuity Response Unit.

Berrinba – two-vehicle crash

A two-vehicle crash on Prospect Place around 10.15pm resulted in a woman being transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital stable with neck and chest pain.

Belmont – vehicle rollover

Paramedics transported a male patient to Princess Alexandra Hospital stable with leg injuries following a single-vehicle rollover on the Gateway Motorway northbound around 9.45pm.

Annandale – vehicle and truck crash

A female patient was transported to Townsville Hospital stable with abdominal and chest injuries following a vehicle and truck crash on University Road and Melton Black Drive at 6.30pm.

Texas – snake bite

A male patient in his 70s was transported to Texas Hospital in a stable condition after sustaining a suspected snake bite to the arm at a private address around 6pm.
