Kedron – structure fire

One patient was assessed for mild smoke inhalation however declined transport to hospital and QAS remained on standby for other emergency services for the duration of a structure fire on Boothby Street at 5.30am.

Surfers Paradise – post-immersion

Paramedics assessed two stable patients following a post-immersion incident on The Esplanade and Cavill Avenue at 2.56am. A female patient was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital, while a male patient was assessed and declined transport to hospital.

Jindalee – truck rollover

Paramedics, including critical care, transported a stable male patient to the Princess Alexandra Hospital after a truck rolled into a power pole at the intersection of Goggs Road and Sinnamon Road at 1.27am.

Fortitude Valley – alleged assault

A male in his 40s was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition with minor facial and head injuries after an alleged assault on McLachlan Street at 1.23am.

Southside – single-vehicle crash

Two stable patients were assessed following a single-vehicle crash on Leonard Street at 12.34am. A female patient was transported to Gympie Hospital and a second patient did not require hospitalisation.

Barcaldine – truck and cow crash

A male patient was transported to Barcaldine Hospital in a stable condition with a leg laceration and neck and chest pain after a truck collided with a cow on the Capricorn Highway around 9pm.

Minden – two-vehicle crash

A female patient was transported to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition after a two-vehicle crash on the Warrego Highway eastbound at 8.20pm.

Stafford – two-vehicle crash

Paramedics assessed four stable patients following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Stafford Road and Appleby Road at 8.06pm, including:

  • A female in her 50s transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with chest pain.
  • A male in his 50s transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with chest pain.
  • A female in her 20s transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with no major injuries.
  • A female in her late teens who did not require transport to hospital.

Black River – snake bite

Paramedics transported a male in his 70s to Townsville Hospital in a stable condition after a reported snake bite to the foot at a private residence around 8pm.

Runcorn – train and vehicle crash

Paramedics, including critical care and the High Acuity Response Unit, responded to reports of a train and vehicle crash on Bonemill Road at 7.37pm. A female in her 50s was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition with head injuries. Approximately 70 people on the train, all declined QAS assessment.

Runcorn – e-scooter incident

A male in his 30s was transported to Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in a stable condition with leg injuries after an e-scooter incident on Pine Street at 7.24pm.

Dalby – vehicle and pedestrian incident

A teenage male was transported to Dalby Hospital in a stable condition with a minor head injury after a vehicle and pedestrian incident on Condamine Street at 7.06pm.

Kangaroo Point – three-vehicle crash

Paramedics responded to reports of a three-vehicle crash on Main Street at 6.56pm. A male patient was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

Kelvin Grove – golf club incident

A female in her 20s was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition with a head injury after she was reportedly struck by a golf club on Herston Road at 6.41pm.

Toowoomba City – bicycle incident

Paramedics transported a male in his late teens to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition with a suspected back injury after falling from a bicycle on Chalk Drive around 6.30pm.

Blackstone – dog bite

A female in her 30s was transported to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition with a hand injury after a reported dog bite at a private residence at 6.24pm.
