14 year old motorcyclist killed in head on with truck

Herberton Petford Road. The motorcycle was believed to be heading west on an unsealed section of Herberton Petford Road.
Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash at Irvinebank this afternoon.
Preliminary investigations indicate a teenager was riding a motorcycle west on Herberton Petford Road which is an unsealed road.
After the rider came around a bend, he collided with a truck headed in the opposite direction.
The rider, a 14-year-old local boy, died at the scene.
Investigations are continuing.
