Mount Pelicon – vehicle off bridge
A male patient was transported to Mackay Hospital stable with minor injuries after a vehicle towing a boat crashed off the side of a bridge on the Bruce Highway and Holdings Road at 5am.
Indooroopilly – vehicle in floodwater
A man in his 30s died after a vehicle was located in floodwaters on Witton Road around 2.45am. The man attempted to swim to safety, however failed to surface from the water.
Mossman Gorge – vehicle rollover
Two patients, a male and a female, were transported to Mossman Hospital in stable conditions following a single-vehicle crash on Coral Sea Drive at 2.38am. The female patient was encapsulated and required extrication.
Torquay – alleged assault
A male patient was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition after paramedics were called to The Esplanade around 2am.
Carina – vehicle in floodwater
Four patients, including two adults and two children, were assessed after being rescued from a vehicle in floodwaters on Preston Road around 12.30am. The patients were uninjured and no transport was required.
Guthalungra – motorcycle and cow crash
A male motorcyclist was transported to Bowen Hospital in a stable condition after an incident involving a cow on the Bruce Highway at 12.23am.
Stokes – fall from vehicle
Paramedics assessed two male patients in their 20s after they reportedly fell from a vehicle on Nardoo Burketown Road around 12am. One was assessed for critical injuries, while the other was transported to Mount Isa Hospital stable with shoulder and pelvic injuries.
Tanby – shed and vehicle fire
No patients required assessment following a shed and vehicle fire on Hannah Road at 12.11am. Paramedics remained on standby.
Greenlands – single-vehicle crash
Paramedics transported a male patient to Stanthorpe Hospital in a stable condition following a single-vehicle crash on Texas Road around 11.45pm.
Waterford – vehicle in floodwater
Five uninjured patients were assessed following a floodwater rescue on Deer Lane at 11.22pm, however no hospitalisation was required.
Boronia Heights – three-vehicle crash
Two patients, including a female in her 20s with a chest injury and a patient with a leg injury, were transported to Logan Hospital in stable conditions following a three-vehicle crash reported on the Mount Lindesay Highway and Green Road at 10.48pm.
Goomeri – vehicle rollover
A male patient was transported to Murgon Hospital in a stable condition following a single-vehicle rollover on the Burnett Highway at 10.09pm.
Murrumba Downs – vehicle rollover
A male patient declined transport following a single-vehicle rollover on the Bruce Highway northbound at 10.08pm.
Idalia – motorcycle crash
Paramedics transported a motorcyclist to Townsville Hospital in a stable condition following a crash on Darcy Drive at 9.35pm.
Forestdale – vehicle into floodwater
A female patient in her 30s was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital stable with neck pain after a vehicle struck flood water on Johnson Road at 9.20pm.
Brandon – motorcycle incident
A female child was transported to Ayr Hospital in a serious but stable condition with an abdominal injury after falling from a motorcycle at 8.22pm. The patient was further airlifted to Townsville Hospital.
Algester – two-vehicle crash
A two-vehicle crash on Beaudesert Road and Learoyd Road at 8.20pm resulted in a stable patient being transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Rollingstone – snake bite
A male patient in his 50s was transported to Townsville Hospital under lights and sirens in a stable condition following a snake bite to the foot at a location off Rollingstone Street at 8.09pm.
Palm Cove – marine stings
QAS transported three female patients to Cairns Hospital in stable conditions for suspected marine stings after paramedics were called to a location on Coral Coast Drive at 7.42pm. This included a woman in her 20s and two teenagers.
Eatons Hill – vehicle into tree
A male patient was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition as a precaution after a vehicle collided with a tree on Queen Elizabeth Drive at 6.53pm.
Mango Hill – wounding
Paramedics transported a male patient to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition with a wound to his groin after QAS were called to Anzac Avenue at 6.42pm. The High Acuity Response Unit were on board for transport.
Kedron – two-vehicle crash
A female patient was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital stable with reported chest pain following a two-vehicle crash on Edinburgh Castle Road and Fourteenth Avenue around 6.30pm.
Urangan – vehicle into power pole
A female patient was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital stable as a precaution after a vehicle collided with a pole on Senorita Parade around 6pm.
Indooroopilly – single-vehicle crash
A single-vehicle crash on the Centenary Motorway southbound and Moggill Road off ramp at 5.51pm resulted in a man in his 60s being transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital stable with chest and leg injuries.
Gracemere – struck by bull
A female teenager was transported to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition with a chest injury after was reportedly knocked by a bull on a private property at 5.43pm.
Hermit Park – electric bicycle into pole
A male adult was transported to Townsville Hospital in a serious condition with chest, neck and arm injuries after an electric bicycle collided with a power pole on Hughes Street and Queens Road around 5.30pm. A critical care paramedic was on board for transport.
