Rocklea – vehicle in floodwaters
Paramedics assessed three uninjured patients who were stranded on the roof of a vehicle in floodwaters on Collinsvale Street and Donaldson Road at 11.12pm. This included two adults and a toddler. No hospitalisation was required once the patient were retrieved.
Clifton Beach – snake bite
Paramedics transported a male child to Cairns Hospital stable as a precaution after he sustained a suspected snake bite to the foot at a private address around 8.15pm.
Mareeba – motorcycle crash
A male teenager was transported to Mareeba Hospital stable with minor injuries following a motorcycle crash on Thora Cleland Drive around 7.30pm.
Herston – person in floodwaters
A male patient was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition after being assisted from floodwaters on Bramston Terrace and Butterfield Street at 7.36pm.
Quetta – snake bite
A male patient in his 20s was transported to Clermont Hospital in a stable condition after sustaining a suspected snake bite to his lower leg on a private property at 6.34pm.
Fitzgibbon – vehicle in floodwaters
A female patient was transported to Prince Charles Hospital in a stable condition after a vehicle became submerged in floodwaters on Lemke Road and Telegraph Road at 6.05pm.
Dirranbandi – tubing incident
Paramedics assessed five stable patients, including two adults and three male children, after a water tube reportedly struck a platform on a private property around 6pm. One child was transported to Dirranbandi Hospital with a leg injury, while the remaining patients travelled to hospital by private means.
