Queensland
Manoora – single-vehicle into a tree
Multiple QAS crews, including critical care paramedics, responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash into a tree on Pease Street at 1.18am. Six patients were assessed at the scene and five patients were transported to Cairns Hospital, including:
- A male teen with critical injuries.
- A male teen with pelvic injuries in a serious but stable condition.
- A male teen with chest injuries in a stable condition.
- A female teen with abdominal, back and head injuries in a stable condition.
- A female teen with neck injuries in a serious condition.
- A female teen with an arm injury in a stable condition.
Kuranda – single-vehicle crash
Paramedics transported a female in her 30s to Cairns Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries following a single-vehicle crash on the Kennedy Highway at 12.54am.
Fortitude Valley – alleged assault
Paramedics transported a male in his 20s to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition with significant facial injuries after an alleged assault on Brunswick Street at 11.39pm.
Jimboomba – single-vehicle crash
Paramedics, including critical care and the High Acuity Response Unit, responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash on the Mount Lindesay Highway in which one patient was entrapped. A male in his 50s was extricated and transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
Rockyview – single-vehicle into tree
Paramedics responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash into tree on Grigg Road at 8.10pm and transported two stable female patients in their late teens to Rockhampton Hospital, one with a minor head laceration and back pain and one with back and abdominal pain.
Maudsland – mountain bike incident
A teenage male was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition after a mountain biking incident on Maudsland Road at 7.34pm.
Caboolture – multi-vehicle crash
One stable patient was transported to Caboolture Hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on Bribie Island Road at 7.24pm.
Burleigh Heads – two-vehicle crash
Paramedics transported a stable patient to Robina Hospital with minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of West Street and Park Avenue at 7.20pm.
Morningside – skateboarding incident
A male in his 20s was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition with head and neck injuries after a skateboarding incident on Kates Street at 7.20pm.
Beenleigh – single-vehicle into pole
Paramedics, including the High Acuity Response Unit, attended a single-vehicle crash into a pole on Adelaide Circuit at 7.09pm. Two patients were transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, including a female in her 40s in a serious condition with head, chest and neck injuries and a female in her 30s with head and abdominal injuries in a serious but stable condition.
North Lakes – snake bite
A male in his 40s was transported to Redcliffe Hospital in a stable condition after a reported snake bite to the foot at a private address at 7.04pm.
