Carnivale 2022
PARTNERSHIP opportunities for the biggest party in town are now available.
Douglas Shire Council is seeking corporate partnerships from the local business community for Port Douglas Carnivale 2022.
Businesses stand to benefit from more than $150,000 worth of publicity and brand positioning in the lead up to the ‘Tropical Wonderland’ weekend on May 20 to 22 this year. Council has released a 2022 Partnership Prospectus featuring a range of partnership packages.
Douglas Shire Mayor Michael Kerr said Carnivale has become a quintessential part of the Port Douglas experience.
“This event is always huge for our region as locals and visitors get a chance to celebrate our unique lifestyle and stunning tropical region,” he said.
“Carnivale continues to foster imagination and promote Douglas Shire as a vibrant and dynamic region where locals love living and tourists loving visiting.”
“More importantly, this year is shaping up to a fantastic event with visitors from across the country eyeing off a holiday in Douglas and we need our local business community to be part of the welcome party.”
Different levels of partnerships are available for each event, so you can choose the package and event that best suits your business.
