Police allege early yesterday morning, a boy attended several homes in Mossman, breaking into vehicles and stealing money before fleeing

Mossman CIB located and charged a 16-year-old Mossman boy following investigations into several incidents yesterday (February 22).

Police allege early yesterday morning, the boy attended several homes in Mossman, breaking into vehicles and stealing money before fleeing.

On February 9, the boy allegedly took part in a burglary of a Dan Hart Lane, Mossman, home, stealing keys and personal property.

A vehicle was allegedly stolen from the driveway and later abandoned back at the same address.

Investigators are seeking to identify other youths involved in this incident.

The 16-year-old Mossman boy was charged with four counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence, two counts of burglary and one count each of attempted enter premises, possess tainted property and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He was bailed with strict conditions and will appear in the Mossman Childrens Court at a later date.
