Super sexy cabaret revue to return to Port Douglas

Following the success of their last sold out show in Port Douglas, Paramour Cabaret will be returning to our town in December with their all new, super sexy cabaret revue.
On 15, 16 and 17 December the cabaret group will be setting up Australia’s only inflatable cabaret tent under the palm trees at Dixie Park.
Expect an adults-only comedy cabaret with beautiful vocals, gorgeous dancing girls, circus acts and well endowed drag queens, all wrapped in a night of comedy and debauchery.
A tent full of talented performers
Due to mandatory renovations in their main venue at The Reef Hotel Casino, Paramour Cabaret was forced to close in November last year.
But this didn’t stop the cabaret group from performing their hilarious cabaret show, and even kicking it up a notch.
Paramour Cabaret owner and host, Wes Evans, said that they decided to take the show on tour as renovations are still ongoing.
“We started back this past June in Cairns and since then we’ve travelled to Port Douglas and Innisfail,” he told Newsport.
“We’re coming back to Port Douglas one more time before heading out on a year long 2023 Queensland tour but will always return to Port Douglas as we love the people and the town!”
An all new sexy show
According to Mr Evans the show had to be totally reworked to fit an ‘in the round’ stage.
“We enjoy having the audience right up close and all the way around the stage as it creates a great atmosphere for the cast and the audience being able to reach out and touch them,” he said.
“The show is a cornucopia of so much. Audiences can expect the unexpected, from our Drag Queen ‘Donna Perignon’, Circus performances from ‘Mr.Fish’, burlesque by ‘Violette DeVille’, magic, beautiful dancers and our host ‘Sylvester Valentine’ will have them laughing out loud with his outrageously unapologetic interaction with the crowd.
“We made a few changes to the show we will perform in Port Douglas as we wanted to bring a more Christmas-themed show.
“And of course the show is slightly different every night based on our audience but on a whole, it’s still an adults-only cabaret where anything could happen.”
The success of the show
Mr Evans thinks there are a few things that make the show a success.
“First, we’ve been able to take so many fun and entertaining elements of different shows and cram them all into one show.
“Second, we wanted to make sure that the boyfriends and the husbands that get dragged to the show have fun as well, we want everyone to enjoy themselves so we’ve made sure it’s not just for the ladies.
“Finally we've been able to create an atmosphere within the tent that allows everyone to just have fun, let loose and forget about everything else that’s going on in the world for a few hours and have a good laugh!”
