Raine & Horne Port Douglas recognised number one Top Office in Queensland

Raine & Horne Port Douglas/Mossman received top honours at the Raine & Horne Queensland Awards held on the Gold Coast last Saturday.
The whole team flew down to the Goldie last weekend to be recognised as number one Top Office in Queensland for number of sales.
The special event was held at The Star Hotel at Broadbeach and the team did not go incognito, throwing on their sparkly frocks and smart suits for the once-a-year black tie evening.
It is the third year in a row the office took first place for selling more houses in the last year than other offices across the entire state.
On top of that, the Port Douglas and Mossman-based real estate office also finished as the number one office with the Biggest Growth over the past year.
Several members of the property management team also made it into the Top Ten Sales Persons for Dollar Value in Queensland for Raine & Horne.
Mark Whitham, Charlie Madgwick, Renae Mous, Greg Brown, Travis Schumacher and David Cotton were recognised for their huge efforts over the past year.
David Cotton, the business’ principal, said he couldn’t be more proud.
“When we heard we had won the awards I felt overwhelmed, it is a fantastic achievement and I am very proud of our team,” Mr Cotton said.
He added that the whole team was overwhelmed: “It was a fantastic night of celebration after all the hard work we’ve done over the past twelve months”.
Mr Cotton himself was also recognised as number three Sales Person (Dollar Value) and he finished number five in the Amount of Sales (Dollar Value) as principal.
Co-principal Travis Schumacher told Newsport that an outstanding outcome was celebrated over the weekend.
“Our team of highly experienced professionals with strong work ethic and knowledge of the local area truly deserved the standing ovation Queensland gave them on Saturday night,” he said.
“Some tears were shed for the recognition as Queensland’s Best Agency for number of Sales and Dollar Value.
“We are now back to Port Douglas & Mossman doing what we do best, weary but happy and more than ever motivated to keep our first places for 2023’s Awards.”
