Queensland
Witta – single-vehicle rollover
Paramedics are treating a stable male patient at the scene of a single-vehicle rollover on Maleny Kenilworth Road at 5.55am. Note: incident is ongoing at time of report.
Carina – structure fire
No persons were injured and QAS remained on standby for QFES for the duration of a structure fire on Zahel Street at 1.44am.
Grandchester – single-vehicle into guardrail
Paramedics transported a female in her 20s to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition with head, neck and abdominal injuries following a single-vehicle crash into a guardrail on Grandchester Mount Mort Road and Rosewood Laidley Road at 11.23pm.
Port Douglas – single-vehicle crash
A single-vehicle crash on Reef Street at 8.08pm resulted in a stable patient being transported to Mossman Hospital.
Ducklo – snake bite
Paramedics met with a female teenager along the Moonie Highway after she sustained a suspected snake bite to the leg at another location. The patient was transported to Dalby Hospital in a stable condition. QAS were called at 7.05pm.
Moffat Beach – vehicle and bicycle crash
A man was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious condition with pelvic and head injuries following a vehicle and bicycle crash on William Street and Buccleugh Street around 7pm.
Waterford West – two-vehicle crash
Paramedics transported a female patient in her 20s to Logan Hospital stable with chest and abdominal injuries following a two-vehicle crash on Logan Reserve Road at 6.55pm. A male patient declined transport.
Birkdale – two-vehicle crash
Seven QAS crews, including a supervisor and the High Acuity Response Unit, responded to a two-vehicle crash involving six stable patients that occurred on Birkdale Road and Cavell Street at 6.52pm. Three patients were subsequently transported to Queensland Children’s Hospital and a fourth was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital. The remaining patients did not require QAS transport.
