Pimpama – burns

A male in his teens sustained significant burns to his arm and hands after a hot oil spill at a private residence just prior to midnight. He was transported in a serious but stable condition to Gold Coast University Hospital.

Mount Kelly – motorcycle and wallaby incident

A patient was transported to Ayr Hospital in a stable condition after a motorcycle and wallaby collided on Lena Road at 11.40pm.

Wangetti – single-vehicle crash

Paramedics treated a female in her 20s for neck and shoulder pain after a single-vehicle crash on the Captain Cook Highway at 10.31pm. She was transported stable to Mossman Hospital.

Palmwoods – motorcycle crash

Paramedics responded to a motorcycle crash on Woombye Palmwoods Road and Chevallum Road at 9.24pm. A male in his 50s sustained chest and abdominal injuries and was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

 

Capalaba – single-vehicle rollover

A male in his 60s was assessed for minor injuries after a single-vehicle rollover at the intersection of Old Cleveland Road and Redland Bay Road at 8.48pm. He was transported stable to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Bundaberg South – motorcycle crash

Paramedics were called to a motorcycle crash on Boundary Street at 8.44pm. A male in his 30s was transported to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.

Yandina Creek – single-vehicle crash down embankment

A single-vehicle crashed down an embankment on Whistler Ridge Drive at 8.33pm. One stable patient was transported to Nambour Hospital.

Broadbeach – single-vehicle crash into wall

Three stable patients were transported to Gold Coast University Hospital following a vehicle coming into contact with a wall off Old Burleigh Road at 8.31pm.

Highgate Hill – vehicle and pedestrian incident

A patient was transported in a stable condition to Princess Alexandra Hospital after a pedestrian and vehicle incident on the corner of Gladstone Road and Park Road West at 8.21pm.

Rush Creek – vehicle and pig incident

Paramedics attended Dayboro Road at 7.49pm after a vehicle collided with a pig. A female in her late teens was transported in a stable condition to Caboolture Hospital.

Bohle Plains – reported snake bite

A female patient in her 60s was transported to Townsville Hospital in a stable conditoin after a reported snake bite to her ankle at a private residence at 7.38pm.

Wulkuraka – vehicle and pedestrian incident

Paramedics transported one patient in a stable condition to Ipswich Hospital after a vehicle and pedestrian incident occurred on Dixon Street just after 7pm.

 

Birkdale – two-vehicle crash

Seven QAS crews, including a supervisor and the High Acuity Response Unit, responded to a two-vehicle crash involving six stable patients that occurred on Birkdale Road and Cavell Street at 6.52pm. Three patients were subsequently transported to Queensland Children’s Hospital and a fourth was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital. The remaining patients did not require QAS transport.
