One of the region’s most popular, much loved and stunning tourist attractions has suddenly gone viral – and for all good reasons.
With state borders now open, social media addicts have been sharing and posting their pics of Mossman gorge to their accounts with many publicly declaring it’s one of the best things they’ve ever seen in Australia.
From backpackers to holiday makers those that have recently visited and later posted on social media platforms, including Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook couldn’t get enough of the crystal clear waters, beautiful 2km walking track and the incomparable serenity of the gorge itself.
“Best swimming spot ever,” one poster commented on Instagram.
“I can’t believe places as dreamy as Mossman Gorge actually exist another social media user said.
“With crystal clear water cascading over boulders, it’s a must visit location on your FNQ bucket list,” a third poster enthused.
Mossman Gorge visitor centre was contacted for comment but was unable to reply before deadline.
