Fans to support Raiders in style

New Seating
Port Douglas fans looking to support their beloved rugby side from the sidelines can do so in style this season following the completion of the club’s new seating facilities at Raider park.
The new seating was unveiled and first used just days ago during the club’s first home game of the year against Mudcrabs.
“Very impressed with the job the Angel Construction boys have done at Raider park,” club president Don Murday said.
“The covered area should be completed a few weeks after Easter.”
Other fans took to social media to express their enthusiasm about the project.
“Looks awesome,” Labor candidate Elida Faith said.
“Definitely come a long way, looks fantastic and cannot wait to return to watch a game,” another supporter said.
After two rounds Port Douglas sits fourth on the ladder, behind JCU, Wanderers and Brothers.
After Easter Port Douglas takes on Wanderers at Raider park on April 23.
