Elida Faith busy over Easter period

Easter Campaining
Labor candidate for Leichhardt Elida Faith has spent the Easter break on the hustings busily meeting and chatting with constituents ahead of the upcoming Federal election.
Ms Faith had Easter morning at St Monica’s Easter morning service where she was joined by Anthony Albanese and Jim Chalmers MP.
“We will deliver funding for much needed local projects like a new CQU Campus and water and infrastructure for the Cape and Torres Strait,” Ms Faith declared.
“A vote for Labor is a vote for a better future.”
Over the weekend Ms Faith also revealed a Labor Government would look after those who have spent time and later fallen victim to the unrelenting Far North Queensland sun.
“Australia is the skin cancer capital of the world,” Ms Faith said.
“That’s why an Albanese Labor government will deliver important funding to deliver more specialist melanoma nurses, who will be important in the fight against skin cancer.”
As expected Ms Faith also reiterated other previously mentioned intended priorities including a vision to strengthen medicare, assistance for aged care citizens and a focus to reduce cost of living expenses.
Ms Faith also discussed water infrastructure and revealed an Albanese Labor government would legislate a National Anti-Corruption Commission by the end of 2022.
