UPDATE:

A police spokesperson said that the accident occurred on Reef Street. There were no injuries and an investigation into the incident is still ongoing.

EARLIER:

Residents on Barrier Street awoke to a scene this morning with two vehicles involved in an incident last night.

The vehicles had been attended to by emergency crews who had applied chemical absorbants around the vehicles.

Paul Makin from Fab FM was there early this morning and said the accident happened around 8pm and involved three vehicles, one of which was removed last night.

The speed limit in the area is 50km/hour.
