Anyone still waiting to be eligible for a Covid-19 vaccination received some good news today with the announcement that everyone over the age of 12 is now eligibleto be vaccinated.

A spokesperson for Port Village Medical Centre said there is currently availability for both Pfizer and Astra Zeneca at both Port Village Medical Centre and Mossman Medical Centre.

ALL people aged 12 years and over

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR AN ASTRA ZENECA (Vaxzevria) COVID-19 VACCINE
People aged 60 years and over
Any person over the age of 18 who has:

• had a first dose of AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), without any serious adverse events
• made an informed decision based on an understanding of the risks and benefits.
