Tickets to the best Christmas lunch in Port Douglas are now available.

Douglas Shire Council has again teamed up with Salsa Bar and Grill to deliver the 2021 Mayor’s Christmas Appeal Luncheon next month.

The event will take place at 12pm on Thursday 25 November. Bookings can be made now via the booking page (Full payment of $85 per person is required upon booking).

A salivating four course menu will set the tone for an afternoon of Christmas cheer in support of a wonderful local cause – last year the event helped contribute to the more than $10,000 raised for the Christmas Appeal.

How to donate

If you can't attend the Mayor's Christmas lunch but you still want to make a donation, an online donation portal is available, and donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.

Council will also have collection points around the shire and will be seeking un-opened children’s presents and toys for kids of all ages, as well as pet food and adult luxury items.
