A police crackdown on property crime in the Far North has seen three young girls apprehended with a stolen car in Mossman.
Cairns detectives with the help of uniformed police and officers from the Tactical Crime Squad (TCS) coordinated a focused property crime response over the weekend that resulted in the arrest of 17 offenders across the Greater Cairns region, aged between 12 and 43 resulting in over 70 charges.
A 12-year-old Trinity Beach girl, a 13-year-old Manunda girl and a 13-year-old Westcourt girl were arrested in Mossman following a robbery on Friday, 7 May.
