Police call for dash cam footage in search for missing man

Police are appealing for public assistance in the search for missing man, 67-year-old Robert Patterson, last seen in Cairns on 15 May.
On 18 May, an item of clothing police believe may be linked to Robert was located in bushland near Portsmith.
Far North Police, with the assistance of State Emergency Services personnel and members of the community, are continuing air, land and water searches of bushland in the Portsmith area.
As part of the investigation, police are appealing to members of the public who have dash cam footage captured on May 15 from the area between Aumulla, Cook, Tingira and Reddern streets, Portsmith.
Fears are held for his welfare due to a medical condition.
He is described as Aboriginal, 175cm tall, slim build with grey/black curly hair. He was last seen wearing a black and white checked, button up shirt and dark coloured jeans.
Police urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact police.
