Man suffers serious injuries in crash at Miallo

The Mossman Daintree Road near Miallo has reopened following a serious single-vehicle crash in the early hours of Friday morning.
A police spokesperson confirmed a 24-year-old Bonnie Doon man was the sole occupant of a Toyota sedan that crashed around 1:20am.
Paramedics transported the man to Mossman Hospital in a serious condition before transferring him to Cairns Hospital.
A QAS spokesperson said he suffered significant leg, arm and chest injuries.
The man remains in a serious but stable condition in Cairns.
The forensic crash unit attended the scene and are investigating.
