Haymans Electrical opens in Port Douglas

Haymans Electrical opened its doors in the Douglas Shire last week.
The electrical wholesaler, with over 300 locations in Australia has set up its new store at 34-40 Beor Street, Craiglie.
General Manager, Brad Jackson, said they have a 600m2 building now filled with stock and ready to go.
“Haymans Electrical has been servicing the Port Douglas and greater shire from Cairns and we could have easily continued to do that, but we are strong believers in supporting local communities in which we do business and what better way than by opening a store and employing locals,” he said.
“We now have two knowledgeable locals employed in the store.
“We also believe in old fashion service and building a strong lasting relationship with our customers and that can only truly be done when you are also part of the community.
“We see a bright future for Port and surrounds and we want to be part of that.”
Mr Jackson said the team looks forward to welcoming in their existing trade-based customers and growing their business with new customers “as we bring quality brands and the latest technology in electrical products to the shire.”
“A few of the products we sell are ceiling fans, LED lighting, air conditioning, solar panels and inverters, home automation, along with the behind the wall items like cable and conduits, making us the one-stop-shop for all the trade’s needs.
“We must state we are not electricians and we do not install products, but we can put you in touch with qualified tradespeople to assist with your install,” Mr Jackson said.
