In response to the Melbourne lockdown, a pop-up COVID-19 testing clinic has re-opened at Port Douglas Community Hall today.

The clinic is located at 13-29 Mowbray Street and will run between 9:00am and 1:00pm Friday 28 May.

It is a walk-up service, so no bookings are required.

Those attending are reminded to wear a mask when visiting the clinic.

It comes as new border restrictions came into effect this morning following the Queensland Government declaring the whole of Victoria a COVID-19 hotspot.

Anyone arriving from Victoria from today must go into hotel quarantine.

Anyone who's been in Victoria and arrived in Queensland yesterday must observe the same lockdown conditions as Victoria.

Victoria recorded four new local cases in the past 24 hours. There are 29 active cases of the virus in Victoria.

COVID-19 testing is also continually available at the Mossman Hospital drive-through COVID-19 Testing Clinic.

This is an appointment-only service open from 8.30am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Bookings for Mossman can be made online or by calling 0459 803 382.

Anyone with any symptoms of COVID-19, no matter how mild, should get tested immediately.
