THREE MINUTES WITH A LOCAL

Last updated:

This week’s G'day Port Douglas & Daintree introduces former detective turned acupuncture expert, John Mason.

In the video above, John talks about why he left the big smoke in Victoria to be his best self in Port Douglas.

He says that even though he loved his work as a detective, he grew bored and wanted something more fulfilling. So, he moved to the Douglas Shire.

Now he is an expert in relaxation and loves meeting a diverse selection of people who come from all over the world.

He enjoys walks on the beach before coming home to his beachside house that he, and his wife, continuously strive to improve.

G’day Port Douglas & Daintree is a series of videos featuring Douglas Shire locals sharing their lives and what inspires them to live in this beautiful part of the world.
