VIDEO | G'day Port Douglas & Daintree: Cyclist and cat resort manager Frank

THREE MINUTES WITH A LOCAL
This week’s G'day Port Douglas & Daintree introduces local pilot turned cyclist and cat resort manager, Frank Fesche.
In the video above, Frank talks about his life and how he ended up in Port Douglas.
Originally from New Zealand he joined the Air Force at 16.
Later he became a commercial airline pilot flying everything from Boeing 727's to Airbus 300's.
When it was time to retire Frank decided to get serious about cycling and rides 100's of kilometres every week.
In his spare time he runs the Sylvista feline mountain resort for cats.
He says that he loves the environment here in the Douglas Shire because the beautiful weather stays all year round and he can do everything he loves every day of the year.
G’day Port Douglas & Daintree is a series of videos featuring Douglas Shire locals sharing their lives and what inspires them to live in this beautiful part of the world.
