Rod Davis is refusing to accept that the Douglas Shire Council, which he once represented as a Councillor, is firmly set to meet the Queensland Government's Covid-19 mandates and is persisting with his crusade to increase public opinion.

Rallies have been planned for Port Douglas and Mossman and his message will be soaked with comments and statements which will anger his critics and please his followers.

Douglas Shire Mayor Michael Kerr, who has not wavered in his criticism of Davis' appalling and abhorrent language, said this rhetoric won't change anything.

“We are following the advice of the Chief Health Officer. The message is clear and to ensure a safe community, people must get vaccinated,” said Kerr.
