Queensland Ambulance Services this morning reported a male in his 30s was airlifted to Cairns Base Hospital in a stable condition with head and neck injuries following a motorcycle crash on Wonga Beach Esplanade at 9.59pm.

Queensland Police yesterday issued a Christmas safety message to all road users. Road use is expected to increase dramatically over the coming days.
