A virtual plan of the proposed play equipment was released by Council for community consultation
Residents of Douglas Shire are being asked to provide feedback on Douglas Shire Council’s concept plans for a new children’s play equipment under the shade of the fig tree in Rex Smeal Park.
The plans were released by council and reported by Newsport last week and Council is asking members of the public to provide feedback on the idea before August 27.
The new play equipment will embrace a green ant theme, highlighting a shared love of climbing between human children and this iconic ant species.
