Crocs game back to original schedule after Premier gives community sport the all-clear

Following this morning’s announcement from the Premier, community sport will be allowed to return from 4pm Friday afternoon according to a statement from AFL Cairns.
In the statement, AFL Cairns said it will return the BCS Pride Round 18 fixture to its original schedule.
"AFL Cairns thanks clubs for their patience and willingness to adapt over the season, as the league endeavours to complete as much of the season as possible.
The revised fixtures for this weekend are as follows:
Men’s Round 18 - BCS Pride Round, Saturday August 21
Cairns Saints vs Port Douglas – Griffiths Park
- Reserves 12:30
- Seniors 2:30
South Cairns vs Cairns City Lions – Fretwell Park
- Reserves 12:30
- Seniors 2:30
Manunda Hawks vs North Cairns – Cazalys Stadium
- Reserves 2:00
- Seniors 4:00
Women’s Round 18 - BCS Pride Round, Saturday August 21
- Cairns City Lions vs North Cairns – Cazalys Stadium, 9:30am
- Manunda Hawks vs South Cairns – Cazalys Stadium, 11:00am
- Centrals Trinity Beach vs Cairns Saints, Cazalys Stadium, 12:30pm
Clubs must follow existing restrictions for training, which remain in place until 4pm on Friday.
AFL Cairns said in a statement that "in conjunction with AFL Queensland, (it) continues to be guided by the direction of the Queensland Government.
"The health, safety, and wellbeing of our football community players, officials, supporters, volunteers and everyone involved in our game, remains AFL Cairns' highest priority.
