Mossman man charged following burglaries and vehicle thefts

A 25-year-old Mossman man has been charged following multiply burglaries and vehicle thefts.
Mossman detectives arrested and charged the man on Sunday afternoon following an ongoing investigation into the unlawful use of multiple vehicles.
A police spokesperson said police will allege between March 3, 2020 and February 25, 2021, the man was involved in multiple burglary and property crime offences and the theft of three vehicles.
“Following investigations, the man was charged with three counts each of receiving tainted property and unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts of burglary and one count each of entering a premise and committing an indictable offence and driving a vehicle without a driver licence,” police said.
“He is next scheduled to appear at Cairns Magistrates Court on May 24.”
