Local water-sport legend, Brett, talks about the joys of life on the waves and how he grew up on the South Coast but has now been here, in the Douglas Shire for more than two decades.
His love for the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree forest have convinced him to stay.
He says he's not going anywhere else anytime soon.
