This week’s G'day Port Douglas & Daintree introduces Kim the Greenthumb.

In the video above, local green-thumb and landscaping business owner, Kim Murphy, tells us about the tropical garden she takes care of in Port Douglas.

She talks about the plants she grows and how they attract all sorts of butterflies and native animals.

Originally from the Barossa Valley, she fell in love with the Douglas Shire right from the moment that she turned the final corner on the road to her new home and saw the first beach.

G’day Port Douglas & Daintree’ is a series of videos featuring Douglas Shire locals sharing their lives and what inspires them to live in this beautiful part of the world.
