A man was airlifted to Cairns Hospital after a single-vehicle crash on Syndicate Road in Miallo, North of Mossman on Friday, 13 November.

Police and emergency services were called to the crash at about 1:00pm after a 28-year-old Mount Sheridan man allegedly lost control of a blue Can-am Maverick XRC quad bike before crashing.

“He was conveyed by Rescue Helicopter to Cairns Hospital for significant arm and hand injury,” a police spokesperson said.

“The man provided a specimen of blood. Investigations are ongoing.”
