UPDATE: 

The 12-year-old girl has now been located safe and well.

EARLIER:

Police are appealing for the Far North community’s assistance to locate a 12-year-old girl missing from Bayview Heights in Cairns.

She was last seen at an address on Toogood Road on Thursday.

Police and family hold concern for her welfare, given her young age and she lives with a medical condition.

The girl is described as Caucasian, around 150cm in height, of slim build with blonde hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has seen the girl or has further information is urged to contact police.
