A successful turnout of the more than 100 people congregated at the Port Douglas Community Hall for the Douglas Business Expo on Friday.
Trade booths were set up around the hall with local business owners and key industry and government representatives having the opportunity to network and exchange ideas for regional business.
The event was hosted by the Douglas Chamber of Commerce and Douglas Shire Council who also arranged for five keynote speakers to address attendees about ways they can leverage upcoming economic opportunities.
