Ladies of the Douglas Shire came together in a celebration of all things women at the Port Douglas Neighbourhood Centre’s International Women’s Day luncheon on Friday.

Held at Salsa Bar & Grill, this was the 23rd annual fundraiser for the Port Douglas Neighbourhood Centre, which forms part of the Port Douglas Community Service Network.

Funds raised will go to the Neighbourhood Centre’s emergency relief program which provides assistance for people in distress and this year will also be shared with Australia’s bushfire victims.

There was food, drinks, inspirational speakers, and musical entertainment in what was an opportunity for women to network, support each other, and reflect on the achievements of women past and present.
