The Mossman & District Gymnastics Club (MDGC) eagerly threw open their doors this week after their recent closure due to COVID-19.

On the 20 March 2020, the MDGC was forced to cease operations as outlined by the Federal Government.

This has had an enormous impact on the club’s gymnasts, families, staff, and committee. The financial burden the club is now facing as a result from the closure will be challenging to navigate, however, the Club is optimistic they can survive with enough support from the community and members.

Despite their unpredictable future, the MDGC is enthusiastic and more determined than ever to see gymnasts back in training and coaches doing what they do best.

In aligning with Stage two and three of the Queensland roadmap to easing restrictions, the following classes are open for enrolments:

Returned: 15 June– GEMS Gymnastics, Kindergym, Mini Gym, Fitter for Life (Senior’s Gymnastics) & Family Fit classes.

Returning: 13 July– Launchpad Gymnastics, FreeG, Tricking, Acro, Adults, Gym Fun and Active8 classes.

QLD Government Fair Play vouchers and payment plans are available to all members.

Please don’t hesitate to contact the gymnastics club for more information. The Mossman & District Gymnastics Club is ready to go and can’t wait to see its gymnastics bounce back into the gym.

For enrolments or enquiries, please contact: Club Manager - Hayley Bender on (07) 4098 1702 or e-mail: info@mossmangymnastics.com.
