Local company, Angel Construction, is celebrating a divine first year shaping Port Douglas.

It has been a riveting 12 months for the crew at Angel Construction as they cement a successful first year in business. Looking to make the next year even more impressive with plans to build on their already stellar portfolio of both residential and commercial ventures that include some big names in the region.

When Adrian and Angela Whittaker became the guardian building angels of Port Douglas and surrounds, they made a promise to give the community superior quality workmanship, exceptional customer service while being honest and transparent through every project and above all being on time and on budget.

Have they kept that promise? You could say they nailed it, soaring above and beyond. Especially in a place that has its own “tropical time”, this is a breath of fresh air when a quick turnaround is important.

“It’s been an exciting time for us, creating lasting relationships with our clients and being able to offer a service of high standard - we’re not happy unless the job is done right and that’s shown from start to finish,” Adrian said.

This isn’t Adrian and Angela’s first hit at the nail. Although Angel Construction is turning one, Adrian boasts over 25 years in the building industry, nine of those alongside Angela.

With an Open Building Class license, Angel Construction takes a lot of pride knowing that they can service everyone and tackle any challenge – there is no limit to the scope of projects they can undertake.

From commercial to residential, licensed water proofing - interior and exterior, new builds to renos. No job is too big or too small for the experienced team.

“We can build a new resort from the ground up if needed.” Jokes Adrian with a matter of fact undertone.

Having a reputation as the people’s builders, Angel Construction is a local company doing work for locals.

Meaning there is no need to hire outside our region, this is an actual tangible way to keep locals employed.

“There were three of us when we started the company, now we have 12 staff. It’s great to be able to employ local talent,” said Adrian.

Angel Construction have projects coming through the big-ticket cash grants out there from the state government’s Housing Key to QLD to the Federal government’s $25,000 HomeBuilder scheme.

To take advantage of these grants you need to talk with the folks at Angel Construction, you never know there may be more options out there to help you with your build or renovations.

What makes them a standout? Their foundation, like houses you are only as strong as your structure, Angel Construction is built on champions – grit, dedication and hard work.

You see Adrian competes in Ultraman races, coming 9th overall at the world champions last November 2019. These competitions test ones mental and physical fortitude – a race involving a 10 km ocean swim, 276 km bike leg and an 84 km run reveals the true merit of a person.

His dedication to these challenges directly reflects what Angel Construction brings to every project, they offer something deeper than just getting a job done, they give unparalleled commitment to integrity, transparency and value – on time and on budget.
