CODEWORD – “VALENTINE”

Additional passports are also available to purchase from the Vie Spa for $99 with Vie Spa Manager, Tania Baker, confirming they are usually valued at $300.

“It is a great gift if you want to surprise your loved one” she said.

The Vie Spa is located at the luxurious Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort and offers a variety of luxury services including massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, tailored to suit the individual.

2019 was a huge year for Vie Spa, awarded Pevonia Spa Group of the Year, as well as a finalist for the Pevonia Performance Excellence Award. They were also a runner up for Best Spa Experience at the 2019 Douglas Business and Tourism Awards.

2020 is set to be even bigger with a new look Vie Spa to be rolled out featuring a relaxed coastal vibe inspired by the seaside village of Port Douglas.

Tania added a spa experience is different from just visiting a beauty salon.

“It is a full pamper experience. We have professional therapists with treatment ranging from body scrubs to massages or a combination of both.”

“As soon as you walk in the door you have the overwhelming feeling of being relaxed and you leave feeling rejuvenated.”

Tania said ‘Vie’ means life in French and the spa is all about celebrating life through providing a tranquil place where wellness is nurtured to harmonise with your inner self.

“After your treatment, you are led to a relaxation lounge where you receive a complimentary tea, gelato or sorbet to complete the experience,” she said.

Tania added that they are really focused on their local visitors so along with the Pamper Passports Vie Spa also offers locals a 20 per cent discount on full price treatments.

Pamper Passport treatments include a facial, a manicure or pedicure, a back, neck, and shoulder massage, and body brush with Vichy shower (a horizontal seven head shower). All treatments come with the option to upgrade at a discounted price.
