Local author reveals all in ‘Hard Luck Motty’

Douglas Shire resident and newly acclaimed author Stephen Mott has done what many people aspire towards, but fail to follow through.
Instead of talking about writing a book about his life, he turned it into reality with Hard Luck Motty, an autobiography, which took a year to complete. He had to wait a further 12 months before Austin Macauley (London) published the book.
“I wrote it because my life has been filled with excitement and tragedies. I thought it would be worth sharing.
“Most people cannot believe the stories in my book,” he says.
