Mossman’s newest restaurant, Inn Front, is set to throw open its doors this week.

Owners Hoaf and Mark Burnett will open the restaurant on Front Street in the heart of Mossman on Friday, in the same premises as former restaurant, Mojos.

Mr Burnett said Inn Front will offer a mix of modern Australian and global cuisines, using fresh and diverse local produce.

“We have a concentration of share plates, a good selection of lite bites plus our main meals,” he said.

Foodies may recognise the Burnetts from their time running popular Port Douglas eateries; Café Fresq, Café 319, and Mango Jam.

Having lived in the area for over 20 years, frequenting the venue’s previous restaurant often, Mr Burnett said when the location became available it was an opportunity they couldn’t pass up.

“You’ve got to take a risk, you’re crazy to open a restaurant at the best of times let alone in COVID," he joked.

“But we are optimistic that local families will support locals."

Inn Front is situated at 41 Front Street in Mossman and will be open Tuesdays to Saturdays for lunch and dinner.
