Local school bus involved in three vehicle collision in Mossman

A school bus has been involved in a car accident on Front Street in Mossman this afternoon, no students were on the bus at the time.

Emergency services attended the scene in front of Mossman State High School at 2.52pm following a collision between two vehicles and a bus.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said four people were assessed by paramedics, with two primary school-aged children, a boy and a girl, transported to Mossman Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.

It is believed the children were travelling in one of the cars.

A police spokesperson said the driver was the only person on the bus at the time of the incident.

Traffic is now flowing, drivers are urged to use caution in the area.
