Port Douglas has a new dining hot spot with the launch of KoKo Restaurant and Poolside Bar at Peppers Beach Club.

Koko is the refurbished reincarnation of Sublime Bar and Grill and is inspired by Beach Boy’s song Kokomo that brings those tropical holiday vibes, as well as our signature cocktails.

Koko’s is a chic, but relaxed, tropical poolside bar and kitchen that brings together the luxury of a tropical holiday with the latest dining trends and a relaxed beach attitude.

Celebrating local and seasonal produce, the all-day snacking menu gives familiar favourites a bright twist with flavours and spices from our neighbouring Southeast Asian countries.

Along with a great burger, and service by the cooling poolside with cocktails alongside the signature prawn roll, the best way to enjoy KoKo is get there fast, and then take it slow.

New Peppers Beach Club General Manager, Jess Whitworth, said the restaurant is designed to be a special feature of the resort that welcomes locals as well as guests.

“What we are wanting to do is for the restaurant to be special for its south-east Asian flavours and our Chef is extremely passionate about introducing it to locals and guests,” she said.

“Locals are just as welcome here as our guests and will be launching a locals night in the upcoming weeks so watch this space.”

The restaurant and bar are open for breakfast from 7:00am to 10:30am and all-day dining from 11:00am to 8.00pm.

For bookings or more information, call Peppers Beach Club on (07) 4087 1000.
