Jungle Adventure Centre re-opens following zipline tragedy
INVESTIGATION CONTINUES
Jungle Surfing has re-opened the Jungle Adventure Centre and is offering day and night walks on its property from today.
This comes in the wake of an Adelaide tourist’s death on the zipline attraction last week.

The Jungle Adventure Centre will be open from 10am to 2.30pm daily offering snacks, drinks, souvenirs, local tour bookings and tourist information.
The company said in a statement today that the zipline will remain closed while a Workplace Health & Safety investigation continues.
“Thank you all for your support and understanding during this difficult time,” the statement said.
“We're continuing to work closely with the investigators appointed by Workplace Health & Safety Queensland to establish the cause of the tragic accident.
“Once they have completed their investigation, we'll have a clearer picture on what needs to be done to get Jungle Surfing up and running again and will be able to provide an estimated timeframe for re-opening our zipline tour,” Jungle Surfing said.
Over the last few months, Jungle Surfing has been trialling day walks on the property and will now offer the tour at 10.30am and 2.15pm to provide guests visiting the Daintree an alternative rainforest experience while Jungle Surfing is closed.
Jungle Adventure’s Night Walks will continue the same as before the accident, running nightly from 7.30pm.
