Accident at Cape Trib attraction leaves one dead and one injured
BREAKING
Queensland police have confirmed a man has been killed after falling more than 10 meters at the Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours in Cape Tribulation today.
The man, believed to be an interstate tourist, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A woman in her 40’s sustained injuries to her arm and shoulder and has been airlifted by rescue helicopter to Cairns Base Hospital.
It is believed the pair were known to each other.
Mossman police are now guarding the site as Workplace Health and Safety prepares a report for the coroner.
