Car rollover causes traffic delays on Cook Highway

A single car has rolled over on the Captain Cook Highway this morning causing traffic delays near Ellis Beach.
It is understood the car rolled into a ditch on the side of the road at about 8.30am with Queensland Fire and Rescue assisting Police to secure the scene.
Queensland Ambulance confirmed they assessed a single person at the scene of the crash who was reported to be in a stable condition.
Lanes on the highway will be closed as a tow truck removes the car and motorists are urged to take caution in the area.
